MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION

Every child is an individual and at Windsor School, our ethos ‘foundations of character’ recognises that when immersed in our rich and creative curriculum, all pupils will go on to achieve more than they ever thought possible.

Our holistic approach provides a genuinely rounded education that goes beyond academic excellence. We empower each and every one of our children to be leaders, whether that be leaders of their own learning or leaders within our school community. We strongly believe that the pupil’s voice is the key to success.

Through innovative teaching initiatives, we instil a sense of purpose amongst our learners. Everyone has the chance to achieve at their own pace. It is this blend of academic excellence and rich experiences outside of the classroom that ensures success for all. As a result, our school community is rich with confident, emotionally intelligent children in every part of this bustling campus.

Here your child can be part of a school community that places them at the centre and invests in their individual interests as well as broadening their horizons. Our goal is for your child to leave our school feeling proud of everything that they have achieved, equipped with the skills to go on to experience further successes wherever in the world that may be.

Lisa Passante

Principal

Lisa joined Kings’ Education as the Principal of Windsor School in August 2021. With a career spanning over 20 years in education, Lisa brings a wealth of experience, both from the UK and internationally.

After six years of teaching in Lincolnshire, where she held the role of whole-school SENCO as well as Team Teach Tutor across the Local Education Authority, Lisa relocated to China where she joined Nord Anglia Education, undertaking senior leadership roles including Head of Primary and Principal. Working in highly competitive education markets in both Shanghai and Beijing, Lisa took a particular interest in educational marketing, which formed the basis of her thesis when completing her Masters in Educational Leadership in 2014.

As a member of Nord Anglia’s Executive Leadership Team, Lisa was involved in partnerships with Juilliard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and UNICEF. Such collaborations enabled students of all ages to experience unique learning opportunities that developed their critical thinking skills, leadership skills and global awareness.

Prior to joining Windsor School, Lisa was Principal of Mount Kelly School, Hong Kong and Al Shohub Private School in Abu Dhabi. Since 2017, Lisa has also been a Lead Improvement Partner with the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), supporting British international schools worldwide in achieving the COBIS Compliance and Patron’s Accreditation. More recently, Lisa has been facilitating the new NPQ programmes with leaders from across the Middle East. These two roles enable Lisa to fulfill her passion for developing others, whether it be supporting schools on their improvement journey or aspiring leaders on their chosen career path; the outcome of which is to ensure students of all ages have access to an outstanding education.

The Windsor School values sit at the heart of everything Lisa believes in; not only for our students but for the entire Windsor School community. By building these Foundations of Character, each and every individual can accomplish anything they set out to achieve, and make a difference to the people and world around them. As the Principal of Windsor School, Lisa very much sees it as her role to enable those around her to be the very best version of themselves.
